E-Gasket Material P140-002 Clear P140-002P Pink The new E-gasket is a Hard/Soft thermally formed elastomeric material that makes an excellent gasket in a Pass-Thru denture. It has a number of advantages over other soft type gasket materials. The E-gasket chemically bonds to the acrylic denture material, which means no separation problems. Secondly, the E-gasket is a closed cell material vs. the silicone open cell. Less porosity means less bacterial build up and longer life for the gasket. Since the E-gasket is vacuum formed, the technician achieves a snap-like fit immediately. Fit, shape, and retention can all be checked prior to waxing. The unique composition on the E-gasket allows for less peripheral thickness which gives a more natural, finished look. Lastly, processing is easy and the complete gasket denture can be made in less than 24 hours. Available in clear or pink and in packages of 12 E-gaskets/Box
